Jim Soward LPC, LISAC. Jim is licensed as both a Professional Counselor and a Substance Abuse Counselor. He lives in Tucson with his wife Dr. Joanne Haupert and three children. He has extensive experience working with individuals, groups, and families since 1997. Jim has been in recovery from alcohol and other drugs since 1989. His experience living with addiction and then the recovery process gives him a unique understanding of the needs of people seeking help.
Jim graduated from Chapman University with a Masters degree in counseling, and before entering private practice worked for five years as the manager for Substance Abuse program at the Pascua Yaqui tribe and then the manager of Adult Behavioral Health Services for the Tribe. Jim continually attends trainings on various behavioral health practices.
We are dedicated to providing the best counseling to our clients. We seek to maintain the highest ethics and the most current treatments available. These are some of the issues we treat:
